I dug this in my parents backyard, at the home I grew up (i.e. aged, never really grew up) in. Little did I know this was 7" under our feet the whole time. Their development was an apple orchard from the late 1800's through the late 1940's. This development was intended for vets returning home from WWII, so it's a cookie cutter neighborhood with about 200 cape cods that were thrown up quickly. We moved there in 1975.

The signal on my AT Pro literally blew my headphones off and was a steady & clean 96. Isn't she beautiful? I was very careful cleaning it so the scratches were already there, or at least I'd like to think that. I walked around in a circle with my arms in the air for about 10 minutes and could not speak.

I was gonna say...WHO is digging in PA right now?? Then I see this is a 2 month old thread, and then it made sense...:laughing7: Hard to hate a Walker Slate! THE best design on a US coin IMO, and being a BIG coin, it makes it all that much better! A late :icon_thumright: on a very nice find!
