Hunted easement next door. 15 minutes produced 1941 mercury in great shape and 1940 3 pence!! No clue what it will be till you rinse it off!!

Found a few 'Thuppence' in my diggins, This wartime issue shows an allium plant, similar to onion,

and was issued to encourage the use of foraged foods during the shortages.
