I've been wanting to find one of these since I live in Charlotte. They also used them in other larger cities around NC & SC. I hunted an 1848 home site that didn't produce much but I was happy to find this. I also had a nice view, they put in a lake that comes right up to the house in the 50s. I'll go back just because it was so peaceful. Now, onto DIV in the morning!!! It'll be my first, can't wait!

Nice save !!
The Scovill Manufacturing Company of Waterbury, Connecticut produced this transportation token.
The token was issued by the Duke Power Company in the 1940s for the Durham, North Carolina area.
