It been awhile since I found bigger silver. I was lucky to find a Franklin last year and a 1916D Walker the year before, so this makes my third silver half. They dont come easy. This was found in the woods adjacent to a city park. It was found 5 inches deep at the base of an old oak tree. I figured it to be another beer can (I turned one over on the other side of this same tree), but to my suprise this popped out. Also found a 1944 Washington, 1917 Merc, three wheats (1950s, 1934, 1929s) and a 1864 Indian. The indian is soaking in olive oil and the wheats are getting a peroxide bath. Found a couple of bullets, Illinois token, and an old Rosary. The usual clad and trash.
