I found this coin this morning on Deerfield bch.,Fl..We had some erosion from "frances",I guess this was lost by a tourist, some time in the last 60 years. It is in surprisingly good shape,it was about 5 inches under the sand next to the pier.If you can't read the pic.,the front says CONFOEDERATIO HELVETICA,the crown on the ladies head says LIBERTAE.On the back of the coin, under the wreath is a small letter "B".Maybe a mint mark? Not my field of expertise. Also on the front the, O and the E are connected on the word "CONFOEDERATIO.a misprint?Like I said not my field of expertise.I'll research, anyone know where it's from?Anyway, I thought it was a cool find!? ? ?diggummup!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?

I did a search on the words on the coin and found:

"Information about Switzerland
also known as Confoederatio Helvetica (therefore the abbreviation CH)"

so it's apparently a Swiss coin! Good find!
