I am sorry to advise you that unless the coin is a high grade uncirculated Red or Red/Brown (in color) 1944 Lincoln Cent, then it is likely only worth $0.03 to $0.05 at most! Someone might be willing to give you more, especially if Lincoln "Wheat" Cents are in short supply where you are located but it is doubtful.
