I found these both yesterday- I can accept the 45S 1/2 cent - but the 45 3/4 was a bummer. This would have been my first silver quarter - It was laying at a wierd angle and I saw it and thought YES!!! but when I pulled it out you see what I got. Oh well. On the bright side - silver is silver.

I still think that counts even though damaged. I hope your next silver quarter is intact :icon_thumleft:

Still counts as a silver quarter in my book! Nice find! WTG

WOW. Something sure cut that baby clean in half :o Now you have 12 1/2 cents :laughing7:

Cut silver is actually on my wanted list. :icon_thumleft:

Nice job !! :headbang:

Keep @ It and HH!! :D ;D

Reel type gang mowers pulled by a tractor will do that to coins on park lawns. look close by (within 3 feet for the rest of those coins) they don't go far, just once around the reel, reels are about 1 1/2 to 2 feet in diameter. I found a slivvered up half in a park one time, but I only have 3 pieces of it. Someone else must have found the rest of it. I have it in a film cannister somewhere around here ;D. But remember, silver is silver no matter how many pieces it's in.............NGE
