195 wheat penny

I found a 195 D wheat penny. I was wondering if anyone had any information on it?

Hard to say with the damage. What other info you need? Value? One cent, maybe 2, if you can find a buyer.

I think you have a 1952D worth 1 cent because of the gouge on the date.

It looks like damage in the picture but it's not. Let me put another pic up. There is not any number after the 5 I would say error coin

Abe took a major hit. Not quite right for damage from a coin roller, but very similar action made that gouge.

Definitely NOT an error. Damage like this does not occur during the coin manufacturing process.

Time for more coffee.

And that is more evidence of damage.
If you look along the upper right edge of the groove you will see a ridge of much lighter colored metal. This is evidence of metal being pushed up and out by whatever caused the groove, at some point after it left the mint.
If it were an error this ridge would not be there.
