1954 D/S nickel w/ pics

Had a decent week. 1 bag & 3 boxes of halves yielded 34 silvers including 2 Franklins. 1 bag of quarters gave up 1 silver and 1 clad proof. 2.5 boxes of dimes gave up two rosies. 3 boxes of pennies gave up 18 wheats, oldest being a '39-S. 2.5 boxes of nickels gave up no wars, no Buffalo's, no V' and no proofs. Year to date I'm averaging 0.59 combined wars, buffalo's and V's per $100, absolutely terrible. I've also found no a single coin to fill a hole in the book (need '39-D, '43-D & '50-D). I have upgraded several dates already in there. I did find 80 total pre-60 nickels including a nice '55-P and a bunch of S mints. Checking them out I also found a '54-S/D, my first. The over-mark is clear, but unfortunately the coin isn't in great condition. Also included a pic of the mintmark on a '52-S I found this weekend - also kind of cool.

That S/D is a neat coin. I've always looked for that one whenever I found a 54-s and never found one. Nice score!
