Hi, this is my first time posting and I was hoping that someone has seen something like this before. The reverse looks normal. The coin in question is located on the left and I placed a 1959 coin for comparison purposes.
Thank you very much!

What do you think is unusual about it? All I see is is a damaged penny.

yes because of the Black spot, I'd say it's very tuff to call it an error

I think it took a hit.

Thank you for taking the time to take a look. I appreciate all of your comments. Yes, the black spot could be damage but I was wondering if it could be part of an error?? The D doesn't look like a normal D to me and that is far away from the black spot.

as Dies get used the mint marks change
some D's get completely filled some just deform

I guess it can be called a Very minor error,
but I don't think there is a Market for filled dies
on mint marks . unless it changes the D to look like someone

The 5 may be different, if you could get a confirmation, but it could cost you either way.
I think it's $35.00 just to have a service look , But I don't know for sure :dontknow:

This is NOT a mint-made error. It was damaged outside the mint

All I see is a stain or slight corrosion on the 5. It is PMD.
