I have a 1970 Lincoln Penny D mint penny. It has deep scratches on the reverse. I am not sure if that is a mint or circulation error? O read the 1970 was a saught after coin?

That doesn't look like an error, it just looks like damage.

70 small date is a sought after coin. Your coin is damaged after minting.
