1968 Canadian quarter

test it with a magnet, if the coin sticks to the magnet,then its nickel.
if it does not, its the silver veriety

actually thats not true.

a 1968 quarter can be 50% silver or 100% nickel, they made two verieties.

kool just found a 1965, no sticking to magnet,so this ones silver..:)
 

'ferrabi' is correct.
71+M silver quarters (0.50 fine) were minted in 1968 as were 88+M Nickel quarters.
Both had similar diameters (23.8) but the silver weighed 5.8319 grams to the nickel's 5.06 grams.
