1971d & 1977d 40%ers...

Inside the front cover of my boy's Dansco album it mentions that a few 71d's and 77d's were stuck on 40% silver planchets by mistake. Anybody ever hear of someone finding one of these? Boy, would that be a sweet find.

Never seen one like that but I suppose it can happen since 40%ers of the previous years were created. If you have one, I'm sure it's definitely worth something.

Seen lot's of posts regarding these over the year's...but never seen a confirmed find.

Mentioned in the Kennedy section of The Red Book also but I've never seen a photo, auction results or anything else as evidence they exist.
