I found this 1972 cent in a roll today, there is distinct doubleing in the words "IN GOD WE TRUST" and maybe a hint of doubleing in "LIBERTY"

What do you guys think, double die or strike doubleing?

That looks like it could be one of the rare ones! FS 03.54!

Take a look at the rim next to "Liberty" is there a cud or chip on the rim there?

Even if its not THAT one, there are 8 or 9 in 1972. And yes, it certainly appears to be genuine doubling, not strike doubling. Way to go, nice find!

I think it's real also.

here is the best pic I could get of "LIBERTY"

Pretty sure that is a different one, not so rare as the first one I thought. That is FS 033.52
Still a nice find. :)

hmm...I'm not so sure that it is genuine doubling. Could be, but the jury's still out for me.

Definitly a type II hub doubled Cent.
It would be worth your time to figure out which one you have and keep it safe.

It is definitely a Double Die. As mentioned above not the rarest one but still a nice one. I also found one in a bag of cents about a year ago.

NICE FIND
