1973 cents grade? (EF,AU,MS)?

Hit box of pennies again today. First box is giving these up 3/4 of the way about 100 so far. Looking for a grade on them, a round about opinion. Best I have seen except in a proof set. For current and future references. Thanks for your time.

The fields all look clean. I would grade the visible ones at MS60 to a select few of MS63. The problem is that there isn't a large market for them. You might be fortunate in getting the best price if you seek out dealers who only deal in cents. I'd keep them. They only cost you a cent.

I'd agree many are near, at least, MS60. There appears to be some damage on many of them. Don't know quite what caused it, but there seems to be small holes in some: like a compass point, maybe? Because of the damage, some may not make the grade. But still nice to see there are some available in that grade today. And they are mostly copper, too.
