Detector(s) used
Silver Eagle, White's Eagle I, White's Eagle II SL, 6000/Di Series 3, Silver Sabre II
Snagged this old dinosaur this morning in the Goodwill Store. Walked in and saw the shaft sticking outta the end of the bag. Dug everything out and stood there in SHOCK !

Unit is in MINT Condition. Just a small scuff on the box bottom and a couple on the coil bottom. Takes 6 - 9v batteries, tested it out and and it works perfect.

Bought Detector, Manual, Headphones, Carrying Bag, Warranty Card, and Original Invoice. Detector was purchased 3/10/1981 for $249.96. I paid very little. :)

Talk about a great find. You hit the jack pot. You never know what you will find unless you look. Welcome to TreasureNet. Glad to have you here. Look forward to pics of the finds with your "new" detector.

nice vintage detector! maybe i should go to goodwill! ;D

All I ever find at the thrift store are golf clubs that look like someone beat rocks into sand as a pastime.

... Finishing a 6 Pack by the 4 tee usually contributes to these results.

Congratulations to your mint condition detector!
I have a VHL Wildcat and I wonder which one of the two models ist the best in sensitivity ? ???

Hey, nice Deep Seeker you found there. I bought one brand new back in the 70's and I still use it from time to time. It has been a good one.

a bit on the heavy side but a great machine --- good kick --- Ivan

Sweet find! Uses 6, 9 volt batteries :o , I hope they last a while! :)

Love those old Garretts ;)
Congrats on the great find.
I use mine (a 1981 Garrtett TR machine) in the woodchips
in all metal mode. It's a very efficient machine for this kind of pillaging.

Good luck with it.
You can never have too many detectors!
