I found this in $860 of customer rolled halves I got this weekend. I got these pictures off an auction site. They take better shots than I do. Mine is in very good shape with a couple of tiny black spots on it.

The bidding is up to $7.00 right now.
It is a 1986 commemorative clad half dollar proof. It was probably part of a 3 coin set that was broken up. (silver dollar, this coin and a $5 gold coin)

Nice find. I too found one in some customer rolls back in January. It was the first commemorative half dollar to not be silver, though......bummer.

Kudos on the find.

Excellent find Dan!!

I went through 3720 halves over the weekend to find that. Almost had a :o

Pretty coin - WTG!!!

Congrats on the comm, it really is a cool coin. So you have it up for auction now,let us know what the ending bid is. I found two of those last year, and they are the only comm halves I have ever found.

No, not yet. I just grabed those shots from an auction site. I think I will hold on to it for now.
