I found this in some pocket change, it felt weird in my fingers then I looked at the edge and noticed this abnormality. Is there any value to this circulated coin? The front and back look normal.

Cracked collar? But I doubt it. It would more likely crack vertically and not along that horizontal line.

It just appears to be damage after it left the mint. Don't know what caused it, but damage. Send a pic in an email to Mike Diamond and see what he thinks.

I was thinking it could be a partial collar strike. Thanks for the suggestion.
