I'm gonna lean toward this being the real deal! Double struck coin! I don't know what the potential value is.

That's pretty cool!

I agree, no idea on value but looks like it was struck twice.

I would venture to say that it is a pretty spectacular error. Double strike in collar. On most double strikes, the second strike is off center or out of collar (the metal ring that holds the Blank in place). This puts this a pretty big step above the rest. I would consider getting it certified. Value? I would guess over $100. Maybe a few hundred. I would need more time to do research.

That is one amazing error coin. For most error coins, the more spectacular the error, the more valuable it's probably going to be. Even in the circulated condition, I am going to agree with dejapooh: that coin is pretty valuable.

Awesome! Glad this is the real deal..I hope to hear more information from your research dejapooh and other experts.

I just got confirmation from mikediamond a expert in error coins that this is a pretty rare error coin. He stated that this is a in collar double struck with a second weak strike error coin.:hello2:

Congratulations, did you get an estimated value?

The coin expert mike diamond said This coin will be value around
$250:icon_thumright:

Wow thanks for sharing!:icon_thumright:
