Man, that's a beauty! All I know is from watching The Antiques Road Show. Looks old. Can you post close ups of some joints, the feet, and inside and the bottom of the drawer?

Yes, i just looked at the drawer and i did not expect to see that kind of work, wow.

Photos.

Beautiful piece, looks hand made, be nice if there were a makers mark, very cool

Thank you Loco, i have not seen a makers mark. Is there a certain place it would be ?

Sometimes the back tells more of the story than the front.

Good luck to all,

The Old Bookaroo

On the back, or bottom, or bottom of a drawer, but this looks like a personal hand made piece, I don't think you will find one, that is a great piece

I will refer you to a expert on local obscure furniture makers, he specializes in very old furniture, and has told me that there was a few furniture makers from that period that is highly valuable, here is his contact info, c Wayne Schultz. American antiques, phone is 814 832 2582,check his site, send him your pics,he will likely know much more than me,he is a reputable expert

Ive always wanted something like that great piece
