Yes it is a 1969 s cent, no real value but still nice to find in circulation.

Thanks. What do You think the value would be?

Agreed, one cent.

I am curious. What characteristics of this coin make it unusual or valuable? Is there something I am missing?

Time for coffee.

its cool cause in 69 we flew out S.F. to Tokyo Japan

Your penny is worth face value. It only has increased value if it is in MS condition.

Keep looking, a true gem will come your way one day and when it does, you'll know it. Never stop looking or it will never happen.

Like the others said, worth one cent. Exactly why do you believe it has extra value?

Nothing makes that peticular coin have more value. Now if it were a doubled die obverse......

King of Coins may be just a kid who may not really be a fully fledged King yet...but he's workin on it.

Most uncirculated 1969-S Lincoln Cents are worth more than some of their' uncirculated counterparts (i.e. 1968-S, 1971-S, 1972-S, etc.) due to the highly sought after 1969-S Lincoln Cent "Doubled Die #1 Variety". The same holds true for the 1970-S Lincoln Cent but it is not quite as valuable.
