1st Century Belt Fitting or ?

Just got back, detected a very trashy path. The area itself as over the years as produced finds from all ages. The path though, seemed strictly modern junk. This was the only thing of interest to come up. It as the look of a first century belt fitting, looked it up in a book. Could be more modern I suppose, very interesting. Robert.

True Cru, makes perfect sense, it does seem a bit thin. The enamel is nice though.
