Just got back, detected a very trashy path. The area itself as over the years as produced finds from all ages. The path though, seemed strictly modern junk. This was the only thing of interest to come up. It as the look of a first century belt fitting, looked it up in a book. Could be more modern I suppose, very interesting. Robert.

Very nice find! I hope it's from the 1st Century. :occasion14:

Is it made of iron, or maybe bronze?
Do you have pictures from the book that you refer to?
Very interesting find
Congrats

I think modern, looks too weak construction, if that makes sense.

Hello it's made of a copper alloy. Not got pictures from the book, it's chill out time now with a beer.
