Got out with Frank yesterday to raid a spot of mine that I haven't been to since last fall/winter. Best hunt for the year!
1st target of the day was the St. Louis Bookmark! After that I took a stroll down coin ally and pulled 1 IH & 3 Wheaties. Coin ally is probably a 10 x 30 lane that has produced time after time for me.
I moved out of the ally and over to the front door area an pulled my 1st Colonial LC of the season a 1739 KG II. Felt good to break back into the 1700's again, since last year. Also in the same area I pulled this blue & gold patterned ring top (a little larger than a nickel).
We then moved on to another site down the road and I was able to pull the round thingy a musket ball as well as the spoon bowel.
Nothing more was to be found here so we moved on further down the road to another site & was able to dig the Buffalo as well as my 1st silver of the season, a 1920 Merc. Also took home this cool iron holder.
The other finds for my last few hunts(Lock cover, 2 musket balls, a toasty IH as well as my 1st ring of the season).
HH,
Roger
