1st gold of the year! Silver, Gold Plate, Charlie McCarthy Spoon, Claddagh, Cameo

#1 Mom is marked 14K, can't get a good pic of the markings. The starr necklace is marked .925 on the charm and Italy .925 on the necklace. The dolphin ring is marked 10K GP, nothing left of the plating that I can see. The Claddagh ring is marked .925 D. I love cameo's and this one is a beaut to me. Tot lots and school yards love to give good stuff, lots and lots and lots of trash too.

Two of my lesser frequented spots, Mom and Starr came from one, the other jewelry from the other. That spoon is a kick in the ass, didn't get out today and was jonesing so I hit my yard for the 1,000th time. This thing gave a heck of a choppy signal but I was digging no matter what, it was about 6 inches down. My 13 year old son was harassing me, "all you dig here is nails, nails, nails for the last 3 months". I pulled that spoon out and said "Well, that ain't no nail now is it?"

Gotta agree with you on the cameo......looks extremely fine in the pic. Do you think it may be ivory?
I have done a fair number of tot lots these first couple of months, but haven't found any jewelry (except the one returned ring) resembling your finds..........CONGRATS!!!!

Check out my older posts, I have done pretty well in tot lots. 14K Bracelet, 10K Diamond(Good stones) ring, 14K Diamond & Sapphire(cheap stones) ring, lots of silver, a stainless ring with real diamond chip. They obviously hadn't been hit in years and averaging just over 1 gold a year but it's enough for me. I really need to expand my area though.
