1st large cent.

However it's from Canada! A 1917, so no complaints. Found it in a park I just happened to see on a 3.5 hr trip cross state.

Good deal! My only large cent came in '91, I think. Actually, I was detecting but found it without the detector. An 1852... common date. I found it under the corner of an old dining room (remember when old houses still had seperate dining rooms?) carpet. It was absolutely mint! Just a dark brown, but perfect! Probably some kid's treasure... put away but forgotten, till I found it! TTC
