1st SILVER RING!!

With our soil being dry as a popcorn fart and hard as a rock, its been slim pickings around our area lately. Yesterday, KyDigNQueen and I checked out a new permission and came away with a few keepers, including 4 wheaties, two of which were 53's. Not a big deal but they are my birth year. Also found my first (drum roll please) sterling ring. Again nothing special, but my first!

Then I popped an item out of the ground that made my head spin!
In a fraction of a second I went through all the possibilities of what it COULD be! All the gold gilded buttons I have seen posted went through my mind, colonial, revolutionary war, civil war, general service button.......


Oh my head was spinning, what a rush.......then I turned it over.......what did my eyes behold....
JUNK!


Oh well!
