1st Tootsie toy, my 16th ring, wife's 4th ring, dateless wheatie

My 16th ring, another amethyst, a plated Avon ring. Betty Bling Bling's 4th ring, another spinner ring very similar to the two I have found only this one has hearts. my 1st Tootsie Toy, a truck that is in sad shape, the bed separated from the cab and only had part of one axle, says made in Chicago on bottom. the rail road spike, common find around here, a Yale lock, a large sinker, the end of a mop handle, some clad (tied my high for 8 quarters) and last a dateless wheatie. I tried the peroxide treatment 1st, several times to no avail and then tried the electrolysis lightly several times and finally could make out a 3 at the end of the date. there was no readable or see able lettering anywhere on the coin, the wreaths were barely there, the face and head nearly gone, very worn coin. not a lot for finds, the sun has a way of draining you but still fun...thanks for looking

cool tootsie!, I love finding those!

It's the hunt that's the fun thing. Sure, finding is the icing. It's what keeps fueling the fires. ;)

But, I love a hunt that has a lot of different items like you have there. Keeps it interesting.

That railroad spike doesn't happen to be a dated one is it?

Thanks for sharing!

the spike had about a 1/4 inch of rust scale covering it, at this point I would say no on the date. it was dug within a mile or less from the tracks

Nice digs . Thanks for the pics

with a railroad running right behind my house, those spikes are everywhere but the rings that metal toy, AWESOME!!
