2 1/2 gold piece 1913

My aunt recently bought a $2 1/2 gold indian piece from 1913 for $175. It looks like it was made yesterday. was this a good deal thanks. k.k.

No pics but I can tell you it;s definitely au-50, she works at the bank so she's always finding rare coins. Her best find from the bank was a 5 dollar gold piece from the 1800's.
