My spouse and I hit Gardiner Park in Laurel today.
Nothing special except the sales tax token, and a 1925 wheat penny.
Still lots of ground left to cover, may be a good place for us to get together and hunt.
It is not in a great neighborhood, but parking is good behind the museum.

Saw another detectorist on the other side of the park, but did not get a chance to talk to him.
Weather was wonderful!

First time I have ever found more nickels than quarters (weird).

Great Hunt! I love finding the old tax tokens. :occasion14:

You didn't have her dig all that, now did you? Keep filling up the change jar.

My back hurts just looking at all that :laughing7:

Unfortunately, no two coins came out of the same hole!
When the weather is cool, and humidity reasonable, I don't mind digging.
When it is hot and humid, I search targets well before the shovel hits the ground.
:)
