Well, NE, at least you got out......and you found a foreign coin. I went out last night and found out my DFX isn't working right. I'm going to send it back to White's for repair.

You are not kidding these are some ugly coins.I think they have been out to sea for a while.I tossed about 10 pennies that had a hard crust on them.
Maybe the US should look at what Aruba is making there coins from.Its in much better condition

i just my dfx about two weeks ago. have done a littie hunting around my house. it was built in 1906. have not found nothing but a hot wheels truck and some junk. when i used my xlt i did find some wheat's and and a 1944 franc. oh , i did not hunt it all

We are not in the hobby for making a profit. However finding enough to pay for batteries is nice. I am happiest whenever I can get out and enjoy the fun. Nice finds. HH.

It looks like stainless steel. Several countries are using it now I believe.
