Hey Hey,

I had some time before work to do a quick run.

One word: "Ewwwww"

20 Banks
- 14 out of 20 had NONE
- I was rejected at 1 out of the remaining 6

Which leaves:
$28 in loose from the trays and a $10 CWR from the remaining 5.
1 - 40% 1968 from the loose ones

Again, some silver is better then none!

Going to take a break until after the holiday. Back to the grind on Tuesday!

H$H!!

What is "being rejected"? How does that differ from them not having any halves on hand?

TGB depending on how far and wide you are searching you will find that you can quickly exhaust the loose and CWR in an area pretty quickly. I used to do alot of searching around town but it got to the point where it was like nope the last time we had any you got them.

SS9040 - being rejected means the teller asks if you have an account at the bank or C/U and if you don't they won't and are not obligated to do business with you

Keep at it!

I'm new to this as well but from what I have noticed I agree with Bigheed. You can quickly exhaust halves from teller trays and really the main supply in boxes can be exhausted rather quickly. It seems that there is a diminishing return over a period of time but i also understand the arguement that if you don't check you could miss some new supply.

I'm struggling with just how actively to attack this right now but I think this is some very good advice by Bigheed.
