I get a box of half dollars every week and occasionally the bank will have some machine-rolled halves as well. All are from Loomis.

Total of Loomis rolls : 48 full boxes + 173 rolls (49.73 boxes) which produced 30 @ 90% silver and 28 @ 40% silver

2022 began with a monster (in 2020+ terms) box of 22 @ 90% silver (17 Franklin and 5 Kennedy) and 2 @ 40% silver.

I found another good one in March : 16 silver (2 @ 90% and 14 @ 40%).

By the end of March, I had found 43 silver (26 @ 90% and 17 @ 40%). Things were looking good.

Unfortunately, the rest of the year (42 boxes + rolls) delivered 15 silver (4 @ 90% and 11 @ 40%)

Skunk boxes : 36 (75% of total boxes -- which included a streak of 14)

Non-skunk boxes (not mentioned earlier) maxed out at 3 silver (1 box), 2 silver (5 boxes), and one silver (4 boxes). I found one (40%) silver in one of the Loomis rolls.

Loose teller coins (unlike many of the forum posters, I never seem to get customer-rolled halves) totaled 22 halves producing 2 silver : 1 @ 90% (Walking Liberty) and 1 @ 40%.

Also of note were 17 impaired proofs.

In summary, 2022 was not very encouraging given how lackluster the last 9 months were.

Hopefully, 2023 will bring better results.
