2 Bank stops (6/10/11)

Hi all, went to stop at 2 banks today(not a road trip)...

Bank #1
My favorite teller had 3 large dollar coins for me, total take: 3x 1972(I will keep thrm, foresavings I guess.)
Ordered 3 boxes of halves-wont be picked up for a while, they will order them next week, no rush. (have a lot of coins to dump)

Bank #2- not a bank I usually go to
Asked the tellers for half dollars, the one did not have any but the one had 4 rolls, i'll take them.
The rolls looked older(hoping silver), the take: 1 solid roll of BU bicentennials, and the remaining 3 rolls- mostly BU bicentennials with a few early 70's mixed in(post 71, not later than 78)
Ordered 1 box of halves(first time ever ordering halves from that bank)-For pickup wedsnesday

That's all for today! Opening the remaining 25 rolls of halves from my 2 "dream boxes" tomorrow or sunday, results definately by monday.

Sounds just like my bank stops :~(

One of the tellers I always talk to at Chase volunteered to call me if she gets new rolls or something silver, though. Guess that's nice. I seem to find people's collections there -- must be someone's estate sale coin dump or something.

I cashed in 6 old rolls of mostly BU bics with a few early 70's mixed in about 3 weeks ago. I wonder if some vacationer bought some from the bank I sold them to, and dumped them near you. Odd for sure.
