Had a good day today... On my way home from the banks I stopped at a local hardware store to get drywall anchors and received a 64 washington in my change.. My two dime boxes yielded 3 silver Rosie's and a 1942 silver Canadian.. I Also found this Asian coin... The date is 1987... anyone know exactly what country it's from? It's crazy how light and "cheap" feeling it is.. Thanks..

Nice. I don't know what the coin is but, if I saw that quarter in my change, I would have asked if I could get a couple of dollars in quarters from him or her right then. HH, Maverick.

Great finds! You have some luck with coins I guess ;D

I would have too! And sagitarrius98 probably could tell you what the coin is.

Yes, it is a 1 fen, made of aluminum. It is pretty nice looking, as aluminum corrodes easily, just like zinc. However, the date of 1987 means that it is worth only a quarter in MS, and yours is most likely AU, so about 15-20 cents. 1957, however, is worth $10 in MS.

Thanks so much for the help... you guys rock!!
