it appears the Last place he stopped was at the dam
by Byers Island

after that he started Looking .
most likely somewhere here as he didn't seem to be too interested in walking far

Not Exactly what I would call a Rope But maybe a 3rd Cave Looms Near ?
it appears this would be a Better time to find them, Then when he did
