2 Copper Day!

Haven't had one of these days in a long time. Was at a site for a good portion of the day with nothing to show except a suspender buckle, which I left at the site as I have enough of them, lol.

I decided to go back to an old site that I detected about 14 years ago that always seems to cough up a copper but today I was blessed with 2! This site has been pounded by Frank & I as well as others and I'm still surprised that there's anything there.

Nabbed the spoon last week with Frank

Was swinging the M9 coil and it did not disappoint!

Any help with the date on the KGII is greatly appreciated!

Great going on the finds...looks like a 1731 to me!

Your KG II is the "Young Head" version produced from 1729-1739. Looks like yours might be e 1731 or 37

I think I see 1737. Two beautiful, old coins! The h'penny is in better condition than most that I have found.
