2 Eagle button day

Got out for a short hunt in a field that I just received permission to hunt, was'nt in it but about an hour and 15 minutes and 20 minutes was spent trying to locate the house site. Was digging alot of lead and pieces of trash brass but did pretty good for no longer than I spent on this site. Came across 5 buttons 1 of them a nice eagle I with quite abite of the gilding still intact,also found a 2 cent piece date unreadable due to poor condition, a piece of a brass spur something I don't come across to often here in Illinois and a what is it brass thing? Had to quit hunting this site due to the farmer working in the field. Looking forward to a return trip!
