Howdy y'all,
Got several hunts in this past week with a few keepers.

Site 1 gave me the nicest first year fatty injun I've ever found. Soil with kind to these coins here.

Site 2 is the field where I found the broken gorget last December. That's when I noticed a spot in the back where there was traces of a site. Went there Friday with 2 buddies and I kid you not, first signal for both of them (at the same time mind you) were two Capped coins!!!!!! Talk about being jealous!!!!!!!!!

I did squeeze the trime out of it tho so I wasn't skunked lol. This site wasn't on any maps that we have but up by the road was the other site. We think the back site was a starter home, nothing newer than 1853 and the other had nothing older than that. I would really like some thgts on the (black glass looking piece). Their both reddish not black and the larger piece WILL NOT let light thru. The little octagon piece has lady liberty with the date of 1872, Not a clue what it's off of.

Site 3 didn't have much but I found the BIGGEST piece of the brass bell I've ever seen lol. Oh and the SMALLEST horseshoe I've ever seen. Let me know what ya think. GL&HH

Very nice. Looks like all 3 of you did well. You about found more arrowheads than metal. I’ve only found 1 arrowhead while detecting.
Yeah I didn't even talk about the rocks, I believe I found another gorget(broken or perform)

Stellar finds for all - well done !
Capped Bust coins are rare finds but a Quarter - wow !
Yeah ur telling me. I've never hunted with the fella that found the quarter and it was his first quarter to boot

Awesome!!! Congrats!!!

fishstick VERY NICE selection of finds Thank you for sharing with us :) IMPRESSIVE !!!

Metal detecting old coins and relics and eyeballing Indian artifacts - don't get any better than that!

Absolutely amazing bunch of finds, congrats!
I find a lot of horse and mule shoes, but that little thing is tiny!

Check octagon Liberty gold coins. Yours does not look like gold and may be a counterfeit.

Some great finds there but, yep, it looks like a base metal fake or imitation of one of these, from California:

DEF not a coin, very thin brass with crud on the back. My thgt's are that it's maybe part of a cufflink or something along those lines.:icon_scratch:
