I found these 2 identical brass tags today and need help with an i.d.
They both say "Brandon" on the top and "Nashville" on the bottom of the pieces.
These remind me of the way railroad baggage tags would have the departure station and the destination on them.
Did I did something similar? I've attached photos of both pieces as well as the back of the intact piece.
It looks like they might have been attached to cloth or maybe a piece of clothing??
This was found about 20 miles from Brandon, MS.
