Scott made the trek up from RI to CT to do a hunt at a couple sites around here. He gave me a whoopin in the copper dept but I managed 2. one looks like a KG I? woods- hibernia half farthing and the other is a 1818 matron head LC. a few buttons and a NY civil war button. a ornate pewter bridle stud? a aluminum religous medal that rang out in the coin range & a chewed up large caliber lead musket ball.a nice hunt and was great to finally meet Scott.
these make 77th & 78th copper of the year.
Scott got 5 coppers and a nice CT CW button.Scott is on the left me on right.

Wow #78, keep going!!! Those are some awesome finds. I was shocked when i dug my NY button here in VA when all we were finding were Confederate bullets everywhere, i thought for sure it was a state confederate button. My back also was not attached to the front of the button and found it still in the hole when i rescanned it. 7 coopers in one hunt, congrats to the both of you.
