2 More Silver Rosies

Did another box of Roosevelts ($250 of handrolled dimes) on Saturday and I found a 1946p and another 1952d. Total of 7 silver dimes for the weekend so I am pleased. Hate those foreign coins which at first glance have those none- clad rims and for a fleeting moment make you think that you have found silver - I am sure you guys can relate.

Hi Mercury,
Make sure you check those foreign coins. They may be silver! I believe all pre 1968 Canadian dimes and some of the 1968 if not magnetic.

Keep up the good work. 2 for a box is pretty good. I did about five boxes this week and get 5 silver's(one in each box) still cant complain any silver at face value is good.

And heed the advice!

Most old foreign... if you go old enough.... has at least some silver in it.

And once you go through enough dimes and other denominations as well... you will get an eagle eye and be able to diferentiate between foreign and domestic rims. =)
