2 Silver (3/21) in 'Not Trash pit' + a few finds from earlier and bullet to ID?
Hi all,
Went back to a spot today that has been producing for me for a short afternoon hunt. I was afraid this spot was drying up, but I had a really productive time pulling 1 wheat 51-d, 1 silver Rosie 1953 -d, and 1 silver Washington 1939 in that order. I also pulled tons of trash going after those iffy signals. I am up to 11 silvers on the year, which ties all of my last years silver. 1 year ago today, I had just barely had my first detector for a couple of days!

I found this bullet at the trashpit Friday 3/19 (otherwise skunked); anyone know if it is old. Measurements seem to be base 8.55 mm +/- .05mm; length 18.5 mm +/-.05mm. Base is not smooth, but as pictured is somewhat conical. Any ideas?

3/17/10 went out for a long day with L4S and D-dub; got a 44-d merc plus 2 wheat - 1925-s and 1936.

Thanks for looking and everyone keep it Real and have happy huntings....
