One of them was from a teller tray, the second was from someone who's "not a collector" and was happy to sell to me for $0.25. 1944-D and 1962-D. One of the Roosies was from a sealed batch of $40, the other 5 were in boxes.

Halves:
Box 1:
Skunk

Dimes:
Box 1:
1958-D
1959-D
1960-D

Box 2:
1964-D

Box 3:
1952-P

Box 4:
Skunk

those are some great finds. At least as far as I'm concerned. I still have not found a silver quarter in the wild. (besides the 1 that I found in my "jar of coins" about 4 months ago). I do not consider that a CRH'ing find. I actually can say though, that finding the 1961 quarter, and the 1964 dime in my "jar of coins" is what started all this madness for me, I am glad it happened but I will say that the intensity of this hobby and my need to "feed the beast" has totally taken me by surprise.

That's excellent - silver quarters are always nice to find at face value!!

Hopefully nobody trolls this post to pontificate about the alleged morality of buying silver coin at face value from another person.

Especially when, in essence that's what we're all doing when we find anything in boxes or teller trays.
