What you have is not a mis strike. In numismatics, it is known as an off-center strike. I think your example would be a III-M-7, or "Struck Off-Center 10-30%". The more the coin is off-center on the strike, the greater the potential value. My 2006 Coin Digest (woefully outdated) lists this as a rarity 3-6 level, and suggests a value of $3 and up. They are not common in my experience. You may wish to hold on to it rather than let it go for the $3-10 you might receive for it on Ebay, as previously suggested. Or not.
