2005 silver eagle

I went into a bank today and they have 2005 silver eagles with a silver dollar for $75 I was wondering if this is a good buy or not. I did not get one. Do anyone here think this is a good deal.....Matt

What kind of silver dollar?

I beleive it was a Morgan and it looked like it was in fine condition. I do not remember the date on it....Matt

I don't claim to be an expert, but the sum of those two (ASE + silver dollar) are worth more than $75 on silver value alone, apart from any premium for numismatic value, right?

(1 oz Ag = $48.48
1 Sil. Dol.= $37.50
Total = $85.98 > $75)

I think I would buy them.

No this is not a trick question. This is what they had them for and I was just wondering if they was wouth it or not. As I have not bought much silver. I got some silver coins a couple weeks ago and I got them for $32 each. So I guess I will go back tomorrow and see about getting a couple...... Thanks Matt

Buy them. I heard somewhere that people think silver prices are gonna go up someday....

Wish the banks in my area had those offers , occasionaly when i traveled to PA in the past i saw offers but that was before silver shot up
