2016 starting off good!

Two hours of detecting this year. Yesterday my first silver coin a 1957 Quarter found in 2" of sand where some dredging took place last year. And Today this silver ring and possibly gold earing (not worth much but still cool to see coming out of the dirt)! Hope this isn't like bowling where all my strikes come in the warm ups and then I stink for the Games!!

Nice finds. I also just found a CTR ring on Friday. Mine was sterling and a size 8 1/2. It was bigger than my wife wears so this might have been made for an adult woman.

Here is my first silver coin dug in 2" of sand near where a dredging operation took place in my neighborhood. Yes I cleaned it cause I don't think anyone is gonna buy a 57 quarter and I wanted it to shine!
