2018 Penny... mis-strike or non-mint made scratch?

Came across this penny. It has a significant circular scratch in the recessed areas. Looking for thoughts on if this - is it anything unique or is it just a penny.

I have seen that in new pennies too. I wondered what the heck would make that?
Theres not much sense of pride in making our money anymore so that might just be the new penny haha.

Looks more like a strike rather than a scratch.

That's exactly what it is. It was on the rim of the roll and the crimper scratched it.
