Tried a new spot after work today. an old path through a small patch of woods that leads to an elementary school. where the path ended and opened up into the back playground field. I started popping green discs out of the ground! I knew what this meant wheaties! found 5 or 6 in an 8ft x 8ft area. I was thinking. ok unpicked spot wheres the silver?? There has 2 be some silver here! ventured a little further into the field trying 2 focus on where the path crossed the field a good deep signal out poped a rosie 1964, I was elated! a couple wheat pennies and a little clad later I got another good deeper signal I suspected was silver. yep! 1934 merc. It was nice 2 find a little area where u find as many vintage coins as clad. It really made the hunt enjoyable!! TOTALS 2 -1/2 hour hunt 8 wheats, a 42,46,48,50,two 57s, and two still soaking! A 1942 canadian george , 1934 MERC, 1964 ROSIE, the costume jewlery emerald. And this lead cap with the edge serated any ideas on this any one else find one like this?? Only 22 coins but a very sweet after work hunt!!
