Back at the old home site in the local park woods. Need to make it back one more time (hopefully) to hit 100 buttons. Crazy site, finds definitely slowing down now.

What do you make of the site? That seems like way too many buttons for just a home site. Congrats, tho, on finding all of those!

You know,back in the day people never threw away anything that might be of use.Ladies kept the odd buttons from worn out shirts and the like and often amassed quite a container full.Maybe this was Grannys box of buttons that got strewed out for some reason. Just a thought.

Definitely unusual for your average western Pennsylvania homesite. Either they had a very large family, or they were running a laundry service
