250 or classic V pro

Has any one compared the 250 and the classic v pro. Which one is best of the two? Could some one let me know please. Thanks

I haven't used the 250 but do own a Classic. The 250 has more features for the money but not having used one, I don't know if it will perform as well as the Classic. I would speculate though that the Classic is made better.

I own a Classic V ID. I've found plenty of coins and CW relics with it. I have also used and hunted next to my dad's Ace 250.

Frankly, I'd go with the 250 - especially if it's your first MD. For the $$$, it can't be beat.

Get some good headphones WITH a volume control or the 250 will blow your ears off!

P.S. I don't use my Classic V anymore as I have moved on to a new machine.

i think the classic has more raw power, but more features on the 250, for the price i would take the 250, or fisher f-2
